About Polestar 2
Polestar 2 marked a bold step in redefining automotive UX and Polestar as a brand, requiring an HMI that reflected the brand’s progressive identity.
When it came to shaping this vision, we set a goal of moving beyond conventional HMI and introducing a geometric, driver-focused interface that embodies Polestar’s minimalist philosophy.
Pure, progressive, performance
Strong collaboration between Design, HMI, Brand and more lead to setting up a ground for next generation of Polestar vehicles visually and conceptually.
Replacing standard dials, geometric shapes became the core visual language, offering clarity while reinforcing Polestar’s modern aesthetic. HMI is build from ground up, leveraging on OTA updates to keep relevant for years to come.
